The article ‘Interaction of E3 Ubiquitin Ligase MARCH7 with Long Noncoding RNA MALAT1 and Autophagy-Related Protein ATG7 Promotes Autophagy and Invasion in Ovarian Cancer’ [Cellular Physiology and Biochemistry (2018) 47 (2): 654–666. https://doi. org/10.1159/000490020 ] by Jianguo Hu, Luo Zhang, Zhiqiang Mei, Yuan Jiang, Yuan Yi, Li Liu, Ying Meng, Lili Zhou, Jianhua Zeng, Huan Wu and Xingwei Jiang has been retracted by the current and former Publishers and the Editor on behalf of the authors.
After publication of the article, concerns were raised regarding the figures of this article. Specifically, an internal duplication within parts of Figure 7 of the article was found. In addi- tion, a duplication between a part of Figure 7 of the article and Figure 3G of another article was found [1]. When asked to comment on the above the corresponding author stated that the original data is not available for review and requested retraction of the article. As the concerns raised about the figures cannot be addressed, the article has been retracted. The authors have not responded to our correspondence regarding this retraction statement despite multiple attempts of contact.
